Ooh, just how much I love gaming conventions and fairs. You simply get there, pay 5 ¤ maximum und start playing. Take one or two friends and you really don't have to worry about becoming bored. Once we've started and found the right board games that suited all of us, we pretty much lost track of time and nearly missed the start of an 'Ulisses'team supportround of the relatively new pen-and-paper role-playing game called 'Pathfinder'. Luckily they waited for us and even helped create our characters. After an hour of explaining the new system, it finally came to immersing ourselves into that new fantasy world and we could forget our surroundings and focus completely on the game.
Only after the final battle, some 6 hours later - real-time of course - we were allowed to return to reality.
Needless to say, that night didn't hold any more time for preparation for the exams next week, but still, I think we all enjoyed the afternoon. So no regrets there. Even if I'm pretty much behind with my learning schedule.
BTW: Next Friday I'll be at the 'Nürnberger Spielemesse'. Let's hope it's gonna be as great as yesterday.:)
